One to One Tuition
One to one consultations are designed to help you with any training problems you might be encountering with your dog. They are tailored to each owner and dogs specific needs, but can address a range of training issues such as barking, jumping up, basic manners, excessive chewing, recall and pulling on the lead.
These consultations can be in your home or at one of my training venues, and are ideal if you are unable to attend group classes but wish to teach your dog basic obedience and manners.
All training undertaken will use kind, effective, reward-based methods.
I usually recommend a minimum of two visits. The first will assess the extent of the problem and show you techniques to help resolve it. On the second visit we will review your progress, I will offer extra guidance and show you ways to further develop your training.
One to one training sessions cost £35 an hour, and include full support after the consultation via email, text or phone calls. Travel expenses as stated below will also be added.
Corona Virus Update (28th July 2020):
Under new government guidelines I am now taking bookings for one to one training. These sessions can run outside in your own garden or in a private paddock near Crewkerne, or we can now carry them out in your home but always employing a 2 metre social distance.
If you are new to formal training, I may suggest starting you off with a video conference call to coach you through the basic exercises, and then follow it up with a face to face training session. The overall cost for both of these is £45 (plus travel expenses).
If you have done previous training with me such as my online courses, or Puppy School I will not need to begin with a video call and can go straight to a face to face session. The cost for this is £35 (plus travel expenses).
If you are still shielding I am very happy to coach you via video call alone. The cost for this is £25.
A one hour consultation in your home, with your new puppy. A chance to discuss common 'puppy issues' such as house training, play biting, settling at night and socialisation. You can ask any and all of those questions that you feel you need help with as a new puppy owner.
All advice given will use kind, positive and effective techniques to help you and your puppy get off to a great and happy start.
Puppy visits cost £35 (plus travel expenses as stated below). But puppies already enrolled onto a Puppy School programme qualify for a reduced rate visit.
